One of the most well-known T20 competitions worldwide is the Big Bash League (BBL). This competition has always had the greatest players, which is why BBL has had some memorable moments throughout its existence.
Batters in T20 cricket are allowed to attack the bowling, and occasionally they produce incredible innings that alter the course of the match. One such statistic in the BBL is also relevant to this topic.
The top five quickest century in BBL history will be discussed in this article. It’s interesting to note that the 2024–25 final had the joint-fastest BBL century.

5. Luke Wright (44 balls) vs Hobart Hurricanes, 2012
Luke Wright, a former English all-rounder, now has the fifth-fastest BBL ton record. During the 2011–12 season, he dominated a game for the Melbourne Stars against the Hobart Hurricanes.

With 10 fours and 12 sixes, he scored 140 runs off just 57 balls and smashed a century off 41 balls, earning the third-highest individual total in the BBL. He contributed to the Brisbane Heat’s 54-run victory and their advancement to the finals.
