New Zealand opener Devon Conway, who is renowned for his sound technique in the game’s longest format, has modified his style to meet the contemporary T20 cricket expectations for rapid scoring. Conway debuted with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2022.

Conway was injured and missed the 2024 IPL season. In 2022, CSK purchased him for INR 1 crore, which was his base price.
