The Indian Premier competition (IPL), the world’s largest T20 franchise competition, is preparing for its 18th season. The big auction, which is set for November 24 and 25, will come before the event.

With several teams hoping to bolster their rosters and strengthen their core, the two-day tournament is sure to be fascinating. Numerous top players have been let go by their teams as a result of the stringent retention regulation, which caps each side at six retentions.

2025 IPL mega auction: Location

Saudi Arabia will host the IPL 2025 big auction. The Abady Al-Johar Arena in Jeddah will host the two-day tournament.

There are 577 players on the shortlist for the auction, 367 of them are Indian and 210 of whom are foreign. There are 204 spots available throughout the 10 franchises.

Mega auction for the IPL 2025: Available purse

Rajasthan Royals will have the smallest purse, INR 41 crores, while Punjab Kings (PBKS) would have the most, INR 110.5 crores, going into the blockbuster auction. The following is a list of the purse for each franchise:
