With the Mumbai Indians, Pandey’s IPL career got underway in 2008. In 2009, he became the first Indian player to hit a century in the competition while playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Pandey earned his first IPL championship with KKR in 2014 following spells with Pune Warriors India and Kolkata Knight Riders. Before joining the Kolkata Knight Riders again in 2024, he previously played for the Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Lucknow Super Giants.
In 171 IPL games, Pandey has amassed 3850 runs, including one century and 22 half-centuries.
