India has been in fantastic form throughout the current U19 Asia Cup. After losing their first game against Pakistan, the Men in Blue rebounded impressively with easy victory over Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
The squad scored 330 runs against Japan, resulting in a 211-run win. In the second game, they bundled out UAE for 137 runs to win by 10 wickets and advance to the competition semifinals.
India’s semi-final match versus Sri Lanka showed the continuance of their outstanding run. Bowling first, Chetan Sharma, Ayush Mhatre, and Kiran Chormale combined to take seven wickets, limiting the Lankans to an only 173 runs.

In reply, India cruised to the 174-run mark thanks to Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s brilliant 67-run knock. Suryavanshi’s key innings featured six boundaries and five majestic sixes.
The most impressive stroke in Vaibhav’s innings occurred in the second over of the Indian innings. He hit a back-of-length delivery from Dulnith Sigera out of the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
