Meanwhile, suspicions are circulating that top batsman Virat Kohli may take over as team captain. In response, RCB superstar AB de Villiers has revealed that the India great will take on the position in the forthcoming season.
The former South African and RCB great claimed that Kohli will take over as RCB captain, despite the fact that no formal statement has been made on the matter.
Virat Kohli I don’t believe it’s been confirmed yet, but he’ll be the captain watching over the squad, De Villiers stated in a video posted on his own YouTube account.

I’m quite pleased. It’s a well-balanced group; we’re lacking a match-winning spinner, but we should be able to balance it out, said De Villiers.
